About Us
OCSP Cat Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, no-kill cat rescue. We are a foster-based rescue, meaning the majority of our cats reside in a foster home until they are adopted. We have partnered with Petco and house some cats in four Petco stores in Orange County.
OCSP Cat Rescue provides medical care to cats to ensure they are healthy enough for adoption. We focus on finding the best fit for the cat and the family. This ensures that the adopter knows what to expect when they take the cat home and it decreases the chance the adopter will return the cat. We welcome questions about our cats before, during, and after the adoption process.
We are 100% volunteer-run. We are funded by generous donations from the public and grants from Petco Love. We are always looking for more volunteers and fosters, so please contact us if you are interested!

Location & Hours of Operation
We do not have a physical location at this time. We hold adoption events at multiple Petco locations in Orange County every weekend for potential adopters to meet the cats and ask us questions in person.

We are a small team. As such, we do not have specific hours of operation. We ask for your patience when contacting us. All of our volunteers work, so it may take several days before we are able to respond.

OCSP is a recipient of the Petco Love Grant 2021. We have been awarded $7,500. Grants, along with donations from the public, are the only source of income our organization has, and we rely on these funds to help the cats in our community.
